mark steiner, inc. created a hybrid CD-ROM (Mac OS 9 and X, and PC) to support DIA Learning’s online learning courseware.  Since the courseware contained liberal amounts of video, the CD-ROM version was required for customers who had either low bandwidth, firewalls that constrained streaming video, or for customers that wanted to be able to take the course both on the web, and remotely from a laptop. The CD-ROM precisely mimicked the web version and connected to the web database to read/write tracking information. The CD-ROM was developed using Authorware 7.0.
